My name is Bec and I am the founder of The Natural Gift Collective. I have been a maker for as long as I remember. One of the first amounts of money I made was through selling mandala drawings in high school. For years it has been the thing where I feel most energised and inspired.
As a lover of the environment, I studied Environmental Engineering at University and spent multiple years working as a Water Engineer. I spent a lot of time deep in spreadsheets, working through complicated problems and hanging at construction sites. I loved it, but I was constantly craving more creativity. I would draw, paint and sew as a creative release, and then I discovered wood burning, or pyrography. I loved it straight away. It blended a love of art, nature and beautiful, rustic homewares.
I started making boards in 2015, and since then spent years mastering pyrography, learning how to woodwork and investing in environmentally conscious processes and materials.
I love working with you to create beautiful, personalised boards, baskets and homewares for the people you love and am beyond grateful for the community that has supported my love of creating over the years.
